#18 @TheFundCFO Newsletter: Year 1

It’s been a year since we launched @TheFundCFO newsletter - thanks for coming along for the ride! Over the first year, we published 17 newsletters totaling more than 12,000 words, along with 300+ insights on Twitter. 

We launched to share insights more broadly from experiences building Airstream Alpha CFO (founded 2018) and as an investor (Texas Children’s Hospital from 2013-2018 & Morgan Creek Capital from 2010-2013). We learned a lot from working with hundreds of venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, and companies!

The stated goal of this newsletter was to “share actionable tools and real-world experiences for VC fund managers, as well as insights relevant to current and aspiring VC fund managers, LP investors, and general industry participants/enthusiasts.”

While I took a full-time CFO role at Chapter One, a leading early-stage crypto fund, the pace of writing here slowed as I dove deep into full-time CFO mode. Now with a year of full-time work behind me, I have plenty to talk about :).
